USER NOTES

This section provides information to help enhance your experience
with Dell PRO Pack for SCVMM '08
* Dell Server PRO Management Pack Version 1.0 does not monitor
informational alerts. You must take appropriate action by
looking at the system health in SCOM/SCE state view, after
implementing PRO Tips.
* Dell Server PRO Management Pack Version 1.0 does not have multiple
alerts on sensors (inclusive of Current, Voltage, Fan, and
Temperature). This implies that there will be only one sensor event
reported for any sensor state transition on a given system. After
you have cleared the alert, the subsequent occurrence of the alert
will be reported.
* Dell Server PRO Management Pack Version 1.0 provides the default
discovery cycle of 24 hours. You can override the discovery cycle
time.
* The Management Station Action Account needs Administrator privileges
for discovery of the servers and power shell execution.
* After a system discovery, if OpenManage Server Administrator is
uninstalled or OpenManage Server Administrator services are stopped,
then the health of the Dell PRO Pack discovered system still remains
”healthy”. However, no alert and PRO Tip will be displayed in
SCOM/SCE and SCVMM, respectively.
* All Unit Monitors will be disabled by default in Dell Server PRO
Management Pack Version 1.0

This section provides information on open issues with this release of
Dell PRO Pack for SCVVM '08
* DF290142: If VMM service restart occurs while PRO Tip implementation
is in progress, the running PRO Tip could be in hung state
indefinitely.
