18 Getting Started
The Management Server Action Account needs the following additional
privileges on Dell systems for the features listed below.
Discovery Requirements
• For discovery of Windows systems on your network, perform Windows
Computers discovery.
• For discovery of DRAC 4, DRAC 5, iDRAC 6, DRAC/MC, and CMC
out-of-band, perform network device discovery.
Security Configuration
Applicable to — Dell CMC MP
To discover Chassis Slot Summary and Server Modules for CMC and
DRAC/MC Chassis, you need to configure the applicable
Run As Accounts and
link them to the
Dell CMC Login Account or DRAC/MC Login Account Run
As Profiles

Alternatively, if the Management Server
Action Account has normal user privileges,
operators can, instead of selecting Use the
predefined Run as Account, enter task
credentials with Power User (or higher)
privileges to run the Clear ESM Logs task.
