32 Understanding Dell Server Management Pack Suite Operations
In the Monitoring section of the Operations Console, Dell → Alerts Views →
Server Alerts displays alerts that meet your specific criteria, such as alert
severity, resolution state, or alerts that are assigned to you. Select an alert to view
its details in the Alert Details pane.
When an alert listed in the Alert View associated with the server is selected,
the Launch Server Administrator and Clear ESM Logs launch points appear
under Dell Windows Server Tasks in the Actions pane. When an alert listed
in the Alert View associated with a DRAC/MC device is selected, the Launch
Dell Modular Chassis Remote Access Console appears in the Actions pane.
When an alert listed in the Alert View associated with a CMC device is
selected, the Launch Dell CMC Console appears in the Actions pane.
When an alert listed in the Alert View associated with a DRAC device is
selected, the Launch Dell RemoteAccess Console appears in the Actions pane.
Diagram View
This view is available for managing Dell Windows systems, Dell CMC and
DRAC/MC, and Dell Remote Access devices. In the Monitoring section of
the Operations Console, Dell → Diagram Views offers a hierarchical,
graphical representation of all Dell devices on your network that SCOM
manages. The Dell Server Management Pack Suite v4.0 offers the following
diagram views:
• Complete Diagram View
• Modular Systems Diagram
• Monolithic Servers Diagram
• Chassis Management Controllers Group
• Remote Access Controllers Group
The Complete Diagram View allows you to monitor the following devices
and components:
• Modular and Monolithic Systems
– Power Supply
–Sensors
–Memory
– Processors.
– Dell OpenManage Software services
