When you migrate from the Detailed version to the Scalable version, the
Detailed Server Management Pack is removed from the SCOM console.
As a result, you will not be able to view the discovery and attribute
information on extended components.
Dell Server Management Pack Suite v4.0 provides these features for
management of
Dell Windows systems and out-of-band Dell devices :
• Option to choose Detailed or Scalable Management Pack, to provide
scalability
• Option to include Informational alerts or detailed monitoring capability
with Dell OpenManage™ Server Administrator
• Discovering and grouping of Dell Monolithic and Modular systems
• In-band attribute inventory for iDRAC, DRAC, and IPMI devices
