Agent-free Monitoring Feature
Agent-free monitoring feature provides detailed inventory and monitoring of Dell PowerEdge servers (12th generation of Dell
PowerEdge servers or later) through the server's iDRAC; using WSMAN and SNMP.
Dell Server Management Pack Suite installer automatically imports the Agent-free monitoring feature if the prerequisites are
met.

Management Packs
After the Dell Server Management Pack Suite management packs are imported, the following management packs should appear
in the Administration pane of the OpsMgr console. For more information, see Importing the Dell Server Management Packs
into OpsMgr.

Software Purpose
(Required) OpsMgr 2012 or later Agent-free monitoring feature is available only on
management servers running OpsMgr 2012.
(Required) SMASH Library MPB from Microsoft Agent-free monitoring feature requires SMASH library MPB
from Microsoft to discover Dell servers. For more information,
see Installing the WS-Management and SMASH Device
Template.
