NOTE: While uninstalling, a message The following applications should be closed before

continuing the installation: COM Surrogate is displayed as the COM Surrogate process is

running the

DellDeviceHelper.DLL in the background and it needs to be closed. Select the Automatically close

applications and attempt to restart them after the setup is complete

option. Click OK to proceed with the

uninstallation.

NOTE: Uninstallation of Dell Server Management Pack suite will not remove the Dell Management Packs imported

in the OpsMgr. Use Feature Management Dasboard to remove the monitoring features and then uninstall the

Feature Management Dashboard manually.

Access Privileges

The OpsMgr internally handles the access privileges for different operations. These can be set up using the User Roles

option under Administration → Security feature on the OpsMgr console. The profile of your role determines what

actions you can perform.
