Dacă monitorul trece la modul de economisire a energiei, apare mesajul următor:

Entering Power Save Mode.
Dacă apăsaţi pe orice buton, cu excepţia celui de alimentare, va apărea mesajul
următor, în funcţie de intrarea selectată:

There is no signal coming from your computer. Press any key on the
keyboard or move the mouse to wake it up. If there is no display, press
the monitor button now to select the correct input source on the
On-Screen-Display menu.
Dacă nu s-a conectat cablul VGA sau HDMI, apare o casetă de dialog care pluteşte, ca
mai jos. The monitor will enter Power Save Mode after 5 minutes if left at this state.
