If the selected components are assigned to any bundle or bundle(s) in the in the repository, the following
message is displayed: The selected componet is part of a bundle. Are you sure you
want to permanently delete the selected component from this repository?
c) Cancel - Exit the Delete Component(s) window.
3. Click Ok to proceed.
NOTE: Delete Task deletes the component from the repository and the database.
Please Wait... dialog box appears while optimizing the database.
Deleting A Repository
You can delete repositories you do not use from Repository Manager.
To delete a repository:
1. To delete a repository from Repository Manager, select the repository from My Repositories, and click Delete.
2. In the Delete Confirm window, , click Yes to remove the repository from the database.
Opening The Dell Online Repository
To open the Dell online catalog directly:
1. On the Repository Manager screen, click View Source link and provide the user credential.
2. The pop-up Source Catalog telling the user " You do not have a Source Catalog. Do you wish
to get it now?
" Click Yes to continue.
Please wait... dialogue box comes up while it's being downloaded.
NOTE: Once the online repository is loaded, the bundles and components in the repository appear under the
respective tabs.
NOTE: Once the Source Catalog is installed in the Repository Manager, it enables Sync Database with Source
option.
NOTE: By default, the source is set to Dell online repository. You can change the source to a different
repository by using the Application Settings menu.
Opening A Local Repository
To open a local repository directly:
1. On the Repository Manager screen, click the Import Legacy Repository link.
2. Click on the Browse button to designate a file location to import the repository. Once the location is finalized, click
the Open button to return to the Import Legacy Repository window.
3. Select the Import only the catalog reference file (e.g. catalog.xml) option and click Import.
Once the local repository is imported, the bundles and components in the repository appear in the respective tabs.
4. You may select the second radio button to Import the catalog reference file and download the actual update files
contained within it.
NOTE: Either option requires use of the Browse button to indicate the location of the catalog.
