10. Click Next.
11. In the Select Models window, the system models are displayed based on the form factor you select.
Select Models shows the following options:
– Include All — includes all the available Systems.
– Select Model(s) — provides the option to choose specific systems from the list of all.
12. Click Next.
13. In the Select Bundles window, select the bundle(s) you want to include in the repository.
Select Bundles shows the following options:
– ONLY include most recent and custom bundle(s) — provides the list of the most recently used bundles
along with the customized bundles from the system.
– Select Bundle(s) — provides the complete list of the available bundles.
14. Click Next.
15. In the Additional Components window, click the Select Components button to include additional components in the
repository which are not included in the bundle(s) that you selected.
In the Select Additional Components window, choose the systems to include their components in the repository.
Once you select a system, you can see the related components lists under the Current View window.
Select the check box corresponding to the components you want to include in the repository, and click OK.
16. Click Next once you have selected any additional Components to add, the Summary window appears.
17. Click Finish to create the repository.
The Summary window displays the properties of the repository based on the selections.
The Create Repository window shows the following details:
– Name of the repository.
– Details of Bundle(s) and Component(s).
– Details of the additional component files.
The Repository Created window displays the message: New repository was created
successfully.
The new repository comprises catalogs and packages defined in it. It also includes the Dell Inventory Collector.
NOTE: Ensure that the bundle(s) and components you add to the repository belong to the specified criteria.
Repository Manager does not restrict you from adding components that do not belong to the specified criteria
into the repository.
18. Click Close to exit the Repository created window.
Selecting A Source For The Repository
You can select a source for the repository you want to create, in the Create Repository window.
1. Select New from the Repository tab.
2. From drop down menu select Customize Repository….
3. In the Create Repository window, Provide a Name: and Description: for the new repository. Select Cancel at any
time to exit without saving.
4. Select Next to continue. In the second window of Create Repository, select either Source Repository or Local
Repository.
Select one of the options:
– Source Repository - Imports the default repository. This option is enabled only if you have access to the
Internet. You can import the bundle(s) and components from this repository into the repositories you create.
