Using Repository Manager To Create And Manage A Business
Client type Of Repository
1. Launch Repository Manager in Business Client Version.
2. On the My Repositories tab, select the specific repository, and click Open.
You can manage the loaded repository in the following ways:
– Compare and update the repository against another repository or the Source.
– Save the repository.
– Edit or go back to the My Repository tab and Delete it from there.
– Search the repositories for different component(s) by using available filter options.
Using Repository Manager With The Business Client Version To
Create And Manage Components
1. Launch Repository Manager in Business Client Version.
2. Create or import a new repository or open an existing repository.
3. In the Components tab, you can perform the following tasks:
– Add components. This is applicable to local repositories only.
– Deleting components.
– Download components.
– Copy components.
– View component properties.
Using Repository Manager To Search For Component Updates
1. Launch Repository Manager in Data Center Version or Business Client Version.
2. On the My Repositories tab, select the specific repository, and click Open.
3. Select search filters to reduce the bundle and component scope.
4. You can use the following Search filters:
– Keyword Search
– Update Type
– Criticality
– Form Factor (Data Center Version only)
– Line of Business (Business Client Version only)
– Component Version
– Operating System
– Supported Platforms
– Supported Devices
– Release Date
– PCI Device Information
– Driver Packs (Data Center Version only)
5. Locate the updates from the list of components.
