Using Repository Manager in Client Mode 67

Exporting Components

To export components:

Select the repository to which you want to export the component.

On the

Components

tab, select the component(s) to export.

Click

Export

In the

Export Component(s)

window, click

In the

Export Destination

window, select any of the following:

•

Copy component(s) into an Existing Repository

— to export

components to an existing repository. Select the repository to export

the components. Click

Add

to select repositories that are not

displayed under

Repositories

•

Create a NEW Repository and copy component(s) into it

— to

export components to a new repository that you create. In the

Name

and Description

window, enter the name and description of the

components. For information on creating a repository, see Creating a

New Repository. Click

The

Export Summary

window appears.

Click

Finish

to complete the export.

After the components are exported, the number of components exported and

the number of and names of repositories they are exported to, appear in the

Export Components screen.
