Using Repository Manager in Server Mode 43

• If you attempt installing plugins by clicking the Click here to install

the plugin, when ftp.dell.com is not accessible and plugins do not

exist on your system, the following error message is displayed.

"Plugin file not found in configured location.

Press "OK" to open Plugin update settings."

NOTE: Ensure the system connects to the Internet and the ftp.dell.com is

accessible.

In the

Browse For Folder

window, navigate to the folder on your local

drive, where you want to export the SUU, and click

Click

Finish

Configuring the New Plugin Notification Settings

You can configure the settings for the SUU and Deployment Media plugins

from the Repository Manager Plugins wizard.

To configure the plugin notification settings:

On the

Repository Manager

screen, click the

Plugin Update

icon after the

plugins are downloaded.

In the

Repository Manager Plugins

window, click

Settings

Select one of the following options:

• Automatically download new plugins when application is launched

• Notify me of new plugins when application is launched

• Manual check for new plugins

NOTE: When you launch RM for the first time and if the Automatically import

ftp.dell.com check box in the Welcome to Repository Manager window is

selected, the Repository Manager Plugin Notifications Settings window is

displayed after the catalog is downloaded. Else, it is displayed immediately

after the Welcome to Repository Manager window is closed.
