30 Using Repository Manager in Server Mode
Table 4-5 below lists the options in the Comparison Options window.
Click View Report. The comparison report for the selected repositories
appears in the Comparison Report window.
Comparison Report
The comparison report displays newer versions, added releases, and changed
releases available in the comparison repository. You can update your base
repository with the components displayed in the comparison report:
• Newer Versions tab —Select the file and click Update to update the base
repository with newer versions of the components.
•
Changed Files tab —Select the file and click Replace to replace the
component in
the base repository.
• Updates to Remove tab —Select the file and click Remove to remove a
component from the
base repository.
• Updates to Add tab —Select the file and click Add to add a component
from the
comparison repository to the base repository.

Field Description
Base Repository Select the initial repository that you want to use for
comparison.
Comparison Repository Select the repository with which you want to compare your
base repository.
Newer Versions Select to view newer version of the same components in
the comparison repository.
Changed Files Select to view any component files that have changed in
the comparison repository.
Updates to Remove Select to view the component updates identified for
removal from the base repository.
Updates to Add Select to view the component updates identified for
addition to base repository.
