User Scenarios
This chapter describes the various uses of Dell Repository Manager (RM) and
the user scenarios.
Launching RM Using Command Line Options
To launch RM using the command line options, use:
•
RepositoryManager.exe
<path>
to load a specific repository at
start up.
•
RepositoryManager.exe -server
to launch the application in
Server mode.
or
RepositoryManager.exe -client
to launch the application in
Client mode.
Managing RM
To manage RM, after it is installed, by repairing it:

Double-click the
Repository Manager.msi
located on your system.

On the
Dell Repository Manager - InstallShield Wizard
, click
Next
.
NOTE: The Modify option is selected by default in the Program Maintenance
window.

To repair the installation errors, select the
Repair
option. For more
information, see Repairing Repository Manager.
