60 Using Repository Manager in Client Mode
Exporting the Catalog
You can export or save the catalog.xml file, which contains details of the
repository you created or customized to your local system.
To export or save the catalog:

On the
Components
screen, under the repository information, click the
Save Catalog
link. The
Catalog Save Options
dialog box appears with the
base location of the repository.

Change the base location of the repository, if required.

In
Catalog xml Path
text box, enter the path of your local system where
you want to save the
catalog.xml
or click
Browse
to navigate to the
location.

Click
Save Catalog
.
The following message appears:
"Catalog exported Successfully!"

Click
OK
to return to the
Components
screen.

Working with Components
Components are also known as Dell Update Packages (DUPs). They are used
for updating the Basic Input Output System (BIOS), firmware, and drivers on
specific platforms.
You can sort the list of components based on file name, type, version, criticality,
date on which the component was created, and description of the component.
