RHEL 8 installation fails on systems with Emulex
OneConnect card
Description: When RHEL 8 is installed on an iSCSI LUN that is configured on Emulex OneConnect card on Dell
EMC 13G systems, the installation fails with a UnicodeDecodeError. This error occurs because the
Anaconda installer is unable to decode the iSCSI initiator name.
Applies to: RHEL 8.0
Workaround: There is no workaround available for this issue, but the LUN can be used as DATA LUN.
