Dmesg displays error messages when Broadcom
BCM57504 25GB is used on Red Hat Enterprise Linux
7.8
Description: The following error messages are observed in the dmesg on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.8 with Broadcom
BCM57504 25GB adapter when NIC and RDMA mode is enabled in the system BIOS device settings:

The message indicates that RoCE is not functional.
Applies to: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.8
Workaround: Install the out-of-box driver for Broadcom BCM57504.
Solution: This issue is resolved in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.8 z-stream kernel
