Bootable disk size
By default, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 congures partitions in the MS-DOS master boot record (MBR) format. The MBR scheme limits the
size of the boot disk (physical or virtual) to 2.2 TB. Use the GUID partition table (GPT) on the boot disk while installing Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 6 for disks larger than 2.2 TB. For more information on setting up GPT during installation, see Installing In The UEFI Mode.
