26 Installation Instructions and Important Information
NOTE: If the default video driver is set to vesa, then you must not add the
NoINT10 line to the Xorg
configuration file. Doing so causes the X Window System
to fail at startup.
A fix for this issue is available in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 7.
GRUB Installation Fails
The grub_install command fails on PowerEdge systems whose BIOS have the
No Execute (NX) security feature enabled, which causes the installation to
fail with a segmentation fault.
