Installing With Dell Unified Server Configuration
Dell Unified Server Configuration (USC) provides an OS Deployment
wizard that assists you with the installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4
Update 7.
NOTE: Dell USC may not provide the latest drivers that are required to complete
the installation of the operating system. Download the drivers from the Dell
FTP website at ftp.dell.com, or use the Dell Systems Management Tools and
Documentation media.
NOTE: Unified Server Configuration—Lifecycle Controller Enabled (USC-LCE),
comes with embedded drivers that are factory installed. It is recommended that you
run the Platform Update wizard to ensure that you have the latest drivers before you
begin installing the operating system. For more information, see the Dell Unified
Server Configurator - Lifecycle Controller Enabled User Guide at
support.dell.com/manuals.
