Refer the Dell support website at support.dell.com to download the latest firmware and driver
versions for your operating system.
NOTE: The drivers and firmware are located on the Dell PowerEdge Service
and Diagnostic Utilities CD, the Dell PowerEdge System Support CD, and at the
Dell Support website at support.dell.com.These are pre-configured factory
default partition sizes for the operating system and are not related to the
capacity of any RAID.
You can download non-native drivers and utilities from the Dell Support
website at support.dell.com/support/downloads or from the Dell
PowerEdge Service and Diagnostic Utilities CD that shipped with your
PowerEdge system.
System Hardware
Table 1-6 lists Microsoft’s minimum requirements and recommended
hardware configurations for Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 x64 Editions.
NOTE: The PowerEdge systems listed in Table 1-1 that are shipped by Dell
support software RAID configurations with an 8 GB partition and hardware
RAID configurations with a 12 GB operating system partition by default.
