Enabling Microsoft Clustering Services (MSCS) on a Windows
Storage Server 2003 R2 x64 Edition system requires reinstalling some
of the pre-installed components

This section provides information to enable clustering on a Windows
Storage Server 2003 R2 Edition operating system.
Uninstalling Microsoft Services for NFS:

Start

Settings
→
Control Panel
→
Add or Remove programs

Select
Add/Remove Windows Components

Deselect the checkbox
Microsoft Services for NFS
when the screen
appears and click
OK
.

Click
Finish
to complete uninstall procedure.

Installing Microsoft Services for NFS:

Utility (SUU) support matrix do not list Microsoft Windows Storage
Server 2003 R2 x64 Editions as a selectable operating system.
The System Update Utility documentation for Dell OpenManage 4.5
was released before the Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 x64 Editions
operating system was released. The documentation is updated in the
Dell OpenManage Version 5.0 software release.
