1. On the NIC Configuration page (Figure 6-4), for the Boot Protocol option,
select UEFI iSCSI HBA (requires NPAR mode).

Configuring iSCSI Boot Options
iSCSI boot configuration options include:
 Static iSCSI Boot Configuration
 Dynamic iSCSI Boot Configuration
 Enabling CHAP Authentication
Static iSCSI Boot Configuration
In a static configuration, you must enter data for the following:
 Initiator IP address
 Initiator IQN
 Target parameters (obtained in “Configuring the Storage Target” on page 71)

NOTE
Use the Virtual LAN Mode and Virtual LAN ID options on this page only for
PXE boot. If a vLAN is needed for UEFI iSCSI HBA boot mode, see Step 3
of Static iSCSI Boot Configuration.
