Configuring VXLAN in Windows Server 2016
VXLAN configuration in Windows Server 2016 includes:
 Enabling VXLAN Offload on the Adapter
 Deploying a Software Defined Network
Enabling VXLAN Offload on the Adapter
To enable VXLAN offload on the adapter:
1. Open the miniport properties, and then click the Advanced tab.
2. On the adapter properties’ Advanced page (Figure 14-1) under Property,
select VXLAN Encapsulated Task Offload.

3. Set the Value to Enabled.
4. Click OK.
