Unloading and Removing Drivers
The following sections describe how to remove the Ethernet drivers.
bnx2
To unload the driver, issue the ifconfig command to bring down all eth#
interfaces opened by the driver, and then issue the following command:
rmmod bnx2
On 2.6/3.x kernels, it is not necessary to bring down the eth# interfaces before
unloading the driver module.
