 Chapter 3 Getting Started describes how to start and exit
QConvergeConsole GUI and how to access the QCC GUI help system.
 Chapter 4 Security Considerations provides information on security-related
topics for QConvergeConsole GUI.
 Chapter 5 Troubleshooting provides procedures that may be helpful for
troubleshooting installation issues.
 Appendix A Revision History contains a list of changes made to this guide
since the last revision.
At the end of this guide are a glossary of terms used and an index to help you
quickly find information.
What Is in the Help System
The QConvergeConsole GUI help system contains detailed information on
features and functionality not covered in this guide, including instructions on
configuring and managing adapters using QConvergeConsole GUI.
For instructions on accessing the help system, refer to “Getting Help” on page 30.
The help system’s table of contents includes the following top-level topics:
 QConvergeConsole Overview briefly summarizes the purpose of the
QConvergeConsole GUI management tool and the adapters that it supports.
 Getting Started shows how to start using QConvergeConsole GUI and the
help system. It also describes how to initiate automatic e-mail notifications
and set security on adapters installed for a selected host.
 Managing Host Connections describes how to connect to a host, create
and use a host group, view host information, and disconnect from one or
more host servers.
 Displaying Host Information describes how to view general host
information.
 Displaying Adapter Information describes how to view general adapter
information.
 Displaying Device Information shows how to view information about a
device (disk or tape).
 Using Reports describes the different types of reports and how to generate,
view, and save them using QConvergeConsole GUI's report facility.
