Web Server (Apache Tomcat) Security
This section describes security considerations for the Web application server
where Apache Tomcat is run.
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
QCC GUI supports secure sockets layer (SSL) connections, in which all
information being sent over the connection is encrypted.
To use SSL, the SSL feature must be enabled during the installation of QCC GUI
(for detailed information, refer to “Installing QConvergeConsole GUI in a Windows
Environment” on page 14). To use SSL when it has not been enabled, first
uninstall QConvergeConsole GUI, and then re-install it, selecting Yes when
prompted to enable SSL.
