Starting QConvergeConsole GUI

Where <server_ip> is the IP address of the QCC GUI server, and
<port_number> is the access port number you specified during
QConvergeConsole GUI installation. The default port number is 8080.
For a secure (SSL) connection:
https://<server_ip>:<SSL_port_number>/QConvergeConsole
Where <server_ip> is the IP address of the QConvergeConsole GUI
server.
The main page of QConvergeConsole GUI opens, as shown in Figure 3-1
on page 28.
Connecting to a Host Server
To connect to a host server from the QConvergeConsole GUI main window:
1. In the upper-left corner of the QConvergeConsole GUI window, locate the
hostname/address text box. Figure 3-2 shows an example.

2. Type the host name or its IP address.
3. To initiate the connection, click CONNECT.
If successful, the host and its adapters appear in the QCC GUI system tree
in the left pane.

To connect to a remote host, at least one management agent (used by the
host’s adapters) must be installed on that host, and the agent service must
be running.

To choose the protocols that QConvergeConsole will display, select
the appropriate FC/FCoE, Ethernet, and iSCSI check boxes. The
default is all protocols. For more information, refer to the help system.
