3 Getting Started
This chapter provides procedures for starting and exiting QConvergeConsole
GUI, and getting help:

Starting QConvergeConsole GUI
Start QConvergeConsole GUI by opening its main page in your browser window.
You can do this either locally on the server where QConvergeConsole GUI is
installed or remotely from another computer. From the main page, you can
connect to servers that host Marvell QLogic adapters and devices you want to
manage. The procedures are the same in Windows, Linux, and Solaris
environments.

You can open QConvergeConsole GUI locally on the server or from a remote
computer. You can also open it using a non-secure or a secure (SSL) connection.
NOTE
SSL is enabled during installation. To use SSL when it has not been
enabled, first uninstall QConvergeConsole GUI, and then re-install it,
selecting Yes when prompted to enable SSL.
