4.5.3 Minimum Cabling Scenarios: PS4100 and PS6100
The vertical port failover feature (described in Section 2.3.7) allows you to cable dual controller
PS4100 and PS6100 family arrays for maximum I/O bandwidth and controller redundancy while using
only one half of the available controller ports. The diagrams in Figure 21 and Figure 22 show how to
connect these arrays to accomplish this.
