UsingtheDellDataProtection|ProtectedWorkspaceBrowserDropDownMenu
TheBrowserDropDownmenuisaconvenientmenuthatcanbeusedfortwodifferentpurposes.The
menuisfoundontheinthemiddleofthetopedgeoftheanyprotectedbrowserwindow.

Bypressingthegraybutton,adropdownmenuwillappear.

Themenu
providesfortwoaccessibleoptions.Thefirstistheabilitytoopenthepreferencesmenu.
Thisactionisthesameasopeningthepreferencesmenufromthesystemtrayicon.
Thesecondoptionistoopenthecurrentpagethatisbeingviewedinthebrowserinanunprotected
browserwindow.
ThisisusefulifapageisnotrenderingcorrectlyinsideoftheDDP|Protected
Workspacebrowser.SelectingthisoptionwilltakethecurrentURLandopenwithinanunprotected
browser(usingthesamebrowserasintheprotectedenvironment).
Theuserwillbepromptedbeforethesiteis
movetotheunprotectedbrowsertoensuretheyareaware
ofthepotentialdangerofbrowsingoutsideoftheprotectedenvironment.Theusercanchooseto
continuebypressingthe“Unprotect” buttonorcancanceltheactionbypressingthe“Cancel”button.

