Hard drive interposer board

Removing the hard drive interposer board

1 Follow the procedures in Before working inside your computer.

2 Remove the:

a SD card

b battery cover

c hard drive

3 To remove the hard drive interposer board:

a Remove the single (M2.0x3.0) and the single (M2.0x5.0) screw that secures the hard drive interposer board to the hard drive

interposer board holder [1].

b Remove the hard drive interposer board from the system [2].

c Remove the 3 (M2.0x3.0) screws that secure the hard drive interposer board holder to the system [3].

d Remove the hard drive interposer board holder from the system [4].

Installing the hard drive interposer board

1 To install the hard drive interposer board:

a Align the hard drive interposer board holder into its position on the system [1].

b Replace the 3 (M2.0x3.0) screws to secure the hard drive interposer board holder to the system [2].

c Place the hard drive interposer board into its position on the hard drive interposer board holder [3].

d Replace the single (M2.0x3.0) and the single (M2.0x5.0) screw to secure the hard drive interposer board to the hard drive

interposer board holder [4].
