Steps
1. Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the left fan (FAN2) to the system board and palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
CAUTION: Do not hold the fan assembly at the center, as it may damage the center bearing.
2. Remove the screw (M1.6x4) that secures the left fan (FAN2) to the system board and palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
CAUTION: Do not hold the fan assembly at the center, as it may damage the center bearing.
3. Disconnect the left fan cable from the system board.
4. Lift the left fan (FAN2) off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
