7. Remove the system fans.

8. Remove the speakers.

9. Remove the coin cell battery.

10. Remove the display assembly.

11. Remove the I/O board.

12. Remove the power button with fingerprint reader.

13. Remove the system board.

14. The component you are left with is the palmrest and the keyboard assembly.

Installing the palm-rest and keyboard assembly

1. Place the palm-rest and keyboard assembly face down on a clean and flat surface.
