5. Install the I/O-board interposers.

6. Install the base cover.

7. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.

Removing the system fans

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.

2. Remove the base cover.

3. Remove the I/O-board interposers.

4. To remove the system fans:

a) Remove the coin-cell battery cable from the routing guides on the system fans [1].

b) Disconnect the system fan cable from the system board [2].

c) Remove the four screws (M2x3) that secure the system fans to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly [3].

d) Lift the system fans along with their cable, off the system board [4].
