To create a mount point:

Click
Add

Mount in the following empty NTFS folder

Type the path to an empty folder on an NTFS volume, or click
Browse
to locate it.

to confirm the changes.

Right-click the drive icon again and select
Format
from the submenu.

Volume Label
, enter a descriptive name for the new volume; for
example, Disk_Z or Email_Data.

In the dialog box, change the file system to
NTFS
, select
Quick Format
,
and click
Start
.
NOTE: The NTFS file system is required for shared-disk resources under MSCS.

at the warning.

to acknowledge that the format is complete.

to close the dialog box.

Repeat step 3 through step 15 for each remaining drive.

Turn off node 1.

Perform the following steps on the remaining node(s), one at a time:

Turn on the node.

Open
Disk Management

Assign the drive letters to the drives.
This procedure allows Windows to mount the volumes.

Reassign the drive letter, if necessary.
To reassign the drive letter, repeat step 7 through step 9.
e
Turn off the node.
