8 Overview
Details of Components Modelled by the
Management Pack Suite
The Dell MD Storage Arrays Management Pack Suite version 4.1 consists of
two management packs — the Dell MD Storage Arrays Management Pack
(Scalable)and the Dell Detailed Monitoring Overrides Management Pack.
Table 1-2 lists the details and the components modelled by each of the
management pack.

• Enables the unit monitors for all the components
discovered under an MD Storage array.
• Health of individual components in the
Diagram view
is shown for the following:
–Volumes
– Controllers
–ESM
–Physical Disks
–Fans
– Batteries
– Power Supplies
– Enclosure health
–Enclosure Group Health
• NIC, Chassis and Firmware are not monitored in any
configuration.
