For the Managed Node
When you discover storage arrays through in-band, install the Modular Disk
Storage Manager (MDSM) software on the system where you attach the
storage array through the SAS or iSCSI ports.

Supported Firmware Versions For PowerVault
MD3000/MD3000i Storage Arrays
For the minimum supported versions of firmware for the PowerVault
MD3000/MD3000i devices, see the readme file
(DellMPv40_MDStorageArrayMP_Readme.txt) provided with the
management pack suite. You can access the readme file from the Systems
