Usage Information
Use this command to associate the system with one or more DNS servers.
Example
• Dell(conf)#ip name-server vrf jay 2.2.2.2
• Dell(conf)#ip name-server vrf jay 2.2.2.2 3.3.3.3 4.4.4.4

ip domain-name
Configures the default domain corresponding to a specific VRF. This domain is appended to the in
complete DNS requests corresponding to the specified VRF.
Syntax
ip domain-name [vrf vrf-name] name
To undo the domain name configuration corresponding to a specific VRF, use the
no ip domain-name [vrf vrf-name] name command.
Parameters
vrf vrf-name (Optional) Enter the key word vrf and then the name of the
VRF to configure the domain corresponding to that VRF.
name Enter the name of the domain to be appended to the in
complete DNS requests corresponding to the specified VRF.
