CLI Guide
Version Description
7.7.1.0 Introduced on the C-Series.
Usage Information Loopback interfaces are up constantly and the BGP session may need one
interface constantly up to stabilize the session. The neighbor update-source
command is not necessary for directly connected internal BGP sessions.
Neighbors are sorted according to the source and destination ip addresses. If an
update-source ip address exists, then the source ip address determines the order in
which the neighbors are displayed.
neighbor weight
Assign a weight to the neighbor connection, which is used to determine the best path.
Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} weight weight
To remove a weight value, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-
group-name} weight command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter the IP address of the peer router in dotted decimal
format.
peer-group-name Enter the name of the peer group to disable all routers
within the peer group.
weight Enter a number as the weight. The range is from 0 to 65535.
The default is 0.
Defaults 0
