ntp server
Configure an NTP time-serving host.
Syntax
ntp server[vrf vrf-name] {hostname | ipv4-address | ipv6-
address} [key keyid] [prefer] [version number]
Parameters
vrf vrf-name (Optional) Enter the keyword vrf and then the name of the
VRF to configure an NTP time-serving host corresponding
to that VRF.
ipv4-address |
ipv6-address
Enter an IPv4 address (A.B.C.D) or IPv6 address (X:X:X:X::X)
of NTP server.
hostname Enter the host name of the server.
key keyid (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword key and a number as the
NTP peer key. The range is from 1 to 4294967295.
prefer (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword prefer to indicate that this
peer has priority over other servers.
version number (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword version and a number to
correspond to the NTP version used on the server. The
range is from 1 to 4.
