Boot Command Line Interface
To access this BOOT_USER mode, rst boot your Dell Networking platform. When you see the “Press ESC to stop auto-boot”, press
the ESC key to log into BCLI
You enter BOOT_USER mode immediately, as indicated by the BOOT_USER# prompt.
NOTE: All commands in this chapter are in Boot_User mode. These commands are supported on the Dell Networking platform.
You cannot use the Tab key to complete commands in this mode.

boot change
Change the primary, secondary, or default Dell Networking OS boot conguration.
Syntax
boot change primary | secondary | default}
Parameters
primary
Enter the keyword primary to congure the boot parameters used in the rst attempt to
boot Dell Networking OS.
secondary
Enter the keyword secondary to congure boot parameters used if the primary operating
system boot selection is not available.
