Usage Information
To enable routing of RRoCE packets, the VLAN ID is mapped to the default VLAN ID of
4095 and this mapping is performed using VLAN translation. After VLAN translation, the
RRoCE packets are considered in the same manner as normal IP packets that received
on L3 interface and routed in the egress direction. At the egress interface, the VLAN ID
is appended to the packet and transmitted out of the interface as a tagged packet with
the dot1Q value preserved. The dot1Q value is preserved only for egress interfaces that
are associated with a VLAN or a lite-subinterface . If a Layer 3 interface is configured
without the encapsulation 802.1Q VLAN ID or is an untagged interface in a VLAN , the
dot1Q value is not preserved .
