You can only split the 40G ports in the top row (odd numbered ports) on a 16X40G module. If you congure 4X10G on a 40G interface, the
subsequent even numbered interface is removed and unavailable for use.
The following example shows the interface status before splitting a 40G interface:
Dell# show interfaces status

The following example shows that when you split an interface on a 16X40G module, the subsequent even numbered interface is removed
from the conguration.
Dell(conf)# stack-unit 1 slot 3 port 15 portmode quad speed 10G
