Syntax
neighbor peer-group-name peer-group
To delete a peer group, use the no neighbor peer-group-name peer-group command.

When a peer group is created, it is disabled (shut mode).

Enable passive peering on a BGP peer group, that is, the peer group does not send an OPEN message,
but will respond to one.
Syntax
neighbor peer-group-name peer-group passive [limit sessions]
To delete a passive peer-group, use the no neighbor peer-group-name peer-group passive
command.

Information
After you configure a peer group as passive, you must assign it a subnet using the neighbor
soft-reconfiguration inbound command.
For passive eBGP limits, the Remote AS must be different from the AS for this neighbor.

limit (Optional, Z9000 only) Enter the keyword limit to constrain the numbers of
sessions for this peer-group.
Range: 2-256

neighbor remote-as Create and specify the remote peer to the BGP neighbor
