Usage Information
After you congure a unicast queue as strict-priority, that particular queue, on the entire chassis, is treated as a
strict-priority queue. Trac for a strict priority is scheduled before any other queues are serviced. For
example, if you send 100% line rate trac over the SP queue, it starves all other queues on the ports on which this
trac is owing.
Per-Port QoS Commands
Per-port QoS (port-based QoS) allows you to dene the QoS conguration on a per-physical-port basis.
dot1p-priority
Assign a value to the IEEE 802.1p bits on the trac this interface receives.
Syntax
dot1p-priority priority-value
To delete the IEEE 802.1p conguration on the interface, use the no dot1p-priority command.
