Classify Traffic
Class maps differentiate traffic so that you can apply separate quality of service policies to each class. For
both class maps, Layer 2 and Layer 3, FTOS matches packets against match criteria in the order that you
configure them.
Create a Layer 3 class map
A Layer 3 class map differentiates ingress packets based on differentiated services code point (DSCP)
value or IP precedence, and characteristics defined in an IP ACL. You may specify more than one DSCP
and IP precedence value, but only one value must match to trigger a positive match for the class map.
1. Create a match-any class map using the
class-map match-any command or a match-all class map using
the
class-map match-all command from CONFIGURATION mode, as shown in Figure 37-7.
