To view the new setting, use the show config command in the INTERFACE mode.

Display Only Configured Interfaces
The following options have been implemented for show [ip | running-config] interfaces commands. When
the
configured keyword is used, only interfaces that have non-default configurations are displayed.

lists the possible show commands that have the configured keyword available:

In EXEC mode, the show interfaces switchport command displays only interfaces in Layer 2 mode and
their relevant configuration information. The
show interfaces switchport command (Figure 20-30) displays
the interface, whether the interface supports IEEE 802.1Q tagging or not, and the VLANs to which the
interface belongs.
