Troubleshoot an Overtemperature Condition
To troubleshoot an over-temperature condition:
1. Use the
show environment commands to monitor the temperature levels.
2. Check air flow through the system.
3. If the system has shutdown due to overtemperature, power cycle after it has cooled down.
Recognize an Under-Voltage Condition
If the system detects an under-voltage condition and declares an alarm. To recognize this condition, look
for the system messages in Message 4.
Troubleshoot an Under-Voltage Condition
To troubleshoot an under-voltage condition, check that the correct number of power supplies are installed
and their Status light emitting diodes (LEDs) are lit.
The SNMP traps and OIDs in Table 13-1 provide information about S-Series environmental monitoring for
hardware and hardware components.
show hardware commands (S6000)
The show hardware command tree consists of EXEC Privilege commands used with the S6000 system.
These commands display information from a hardware sub-component and from hardware-based feature
tables.
Table 13-2 lists the
show hardware commands available as of the latest FTOS version on the S6000.
