Measured Tx power is converted to dbm using following calculation. This value is then multiplied by 100
and displayed in SNMP.( Figure 13-11)
Power in dbm = 10*log (measured Tx power)

Temperature via Command Line Interface:
To display the temperature readings, use the below command:
Note:
The Value of “1000000” indicates the power reading is not supported (for example, copper
optics power reading is not supported).
The value of “65535” indicates optics is not present.
For quad form-factor pluggable (QSFP), power readings Rx1 power value displays in the
SNMP readings.
For quad form-factor pluggable (QSFP), cables Tx power is always “1000000” (currently not
supported).
Enabling
enable optic-info-update interval command updates both power and temperature
readings.
Tx Power = 0.525mW
Then Power = 10 * log (0.525) dBm
= -2.798 dBm
